It looks quite simple to say – there is the right and the wrong way to do things. You can practice shot 8 hours a day, but if the technique is wrong, all “the good”, in shot is done in the wrong way.

Head Coach:

Bosko Djokic - coach of the Youth National Team of Serbia, 35 years of experience in work with young players, winner of the cup of Radivoje Korac.

Born on October 26, 1958 in Belgrade, with the title of senior basketball coach, at the start of this season engaged in “FMP” BC Belgrade. Before taking the first team he led “Radnicki Basket” BC and worked as a coordinator of young selections of “FMP” BC. In his career, he successfully led a number of international teams and won the Adriatic League with Reflex BC (2003 – 2004) and “Korac” Cup in 2005. As a coach, he started his career in “Slavonka” BC from Osijek and led “Profikolor BC” (Pancevo), “BFC” BC (Beocin), “Masinac” BC (Kraljevo), “Zdravlje” BC (Leskovac), “Radnicki” BC (Belgrade) “Borac” BC (Cacak). “Megaishrana” BC (Belgrade), “Pivovarna Lasko” BC (Slovenia), “Ibon” BC (Niksic)

The position of a player in shot/preparation or rebound
First exercise, starting position

Phase 1

  • holding the ball with one hand
  • posture of legs/feet - house's foundations
  • knees bounded at the height of fingers
  • arms - elbow pasted to body, fingers widely stretched, hand beneath the ball

Phase 2

  • only position of hands alters, elbow at the height of finger tops, legs in L position\
  • shoulders in front of legs
  • ball holding, hands directed toward the basket, point finger and thumb set apart

Phase 3

  • realization
  • hand stretched, elbow up
  • knees stretched
  • from heels to fingers
  • tracking the ball's direction with fingers

You will practice:

  1. set shot and free throws
  2. jump shot and 3 point shot
  3. lay up and pro lay up
  4. shot in move and after dribbling…….more than 2000 shots per camper

We bring you to the accurate automatism for scoring!
We detect the causes of a miss!

 

    Program:

    1. warm up, stretching, conditioning
    2. technique (shooting, moving, receiving the ball)
    3. competition (1 min. shot, hot shot, free throws)
